The most important part of therapy is having a therapist you love! So, my main approach is. . . to be approachable and to connect with you.
Next up, I’m a total therapy nerd, and I love science! So, I generally use two highly effective evidence-based treatment modalities: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and IFS/Parts-Work. EMDR is well known for its effectiveness in treating trauma-related disorders and symptoms. EMDR will help you process past experiences and promote emotional healing. IFS-Informed Parts Work fosters self-awareness and self-compassion. It aims to heal inner conflicts, creating a harmonious relationship with your thoughts and emotions. Along with Mindfulness- Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy I tend to be eclectic in ensuring I give each individual client what they need.

Finally, I believe therapy should be fun. Now, don't be fooled... We're gonna do work! But I believe that growth can be a creative and joyful process. If you’re looking for a therapist that is empathetic yet honest, one who will give you the nudge you need, I’d love to set up a consultation so we can discuss your needs further.
